A B S T R A C T PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF UNSATURATED CARBOXYLATE ESTERS Process for the preparation of carboxylate esters of alpha-ethylenically unsaturated alcohols by reacting an ethylenically unsaturated compound with carbon monoxide and an enolizable ketone in the presence of a catalytic system rormed by combining a palladium catalyst, a triarvlphosphine and a protonic acid having a PKa below 1.5, except hvdrohalogenic acids and carboxylic acids.
