ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A telephone set structure including a handset unit and a base unit is disclosed. The base unit includes a casing, a mounting member provided with a manipulable section made up of a power switch and a volume control switch on one of opposite side faces, and a non-manipulable section comprising a speaker grill on the other side face, the mounting member being inserted into the casing with the opposite side faces invertibly positioned, and a handset coupling section for fixing the handset in position and covering the casing in which the mounting member has been received.
