PRECIS DE DIVULGATION L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection d'un réseau alternatif de distribution contre les courants de court-circuit et un disjoncteur-limiteur approprié. Un disjoncteur aval génè- re un signal de neutralisation d'ouverture des contacts d'un disjoncteur-limiteur amont lorsque le courant aval dépasse un seuil de neutralisation inférieur au seuil de déclenchement et/ou au seuil de limitation. Le disjoncteur-limiteur amont présente en parallèle un couple de thyristors tête-bêche et un circuit de commande des gâchettes des thyristors, ce circuit rendant passant l'un des thyristors en réponse au signal pour inhiber pendant au plus une alternance.
