PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Perfectionnement à la stabilisation à la chaleur, aux chocs et à la lumière de résines renfermant un halogène. En plus d'un composé métallique, on incorpore à la résine un ester d'acide organique, dans lequel la fonction mercaptan est liée à un atome de carbone du reste alcool de cet ester. Une application importante est la stabilisation du chlorure de polyvinyle ou d'un chlorure de polyvinyle modifié.
