ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device is disclosed for immobilizing a bone element, especially for orthopedic use, comprising pins or needles, passing through the element, mounted in supports themselves borne by two metallic rigid hoops surrounding the bone element and separated from one another by spacing braces having an adjustable length. Each hoop has in straight cross-section an external outline presenting two flattened parallel portions respectively connected by two convex portions. The supports of the pins or needles 3 borne by the hoop are constituted by laterally open parts having two wings comprising plane surfaces adapted to cooperate through plane sliding with the flattened portions of the hoop. These wings are joined by a concave portion matching the outline of one of the convex portions of the external outline of the hoop.
