Method Of Cationic Electrodeposition Using Dissolution Resistant Anodes Abstract Disclosed is cationic electrodeposition of an aqueous cationic resinous composition with an anode comprising a self- supporting substrate to which is adhered a coating of a conductive material selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium, iridium, gold, oxides thereof, and mixtures thereof. The anode is more resistant to dissolution than stainless steel anodes which are conventionally used in cationic electrodeposition.
