Phosphorylmercaptocarboxylic acid salts Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to the use of compounds of the formula I Image (I), wherein R1 and R2 independently of each other are C1-C6alkyl, phenyl or phenyl substituted by C1-C4alkyl, or are C7-C8aralkyl, or R1 and R2 together are a group of the formula II -(R3)C(R4)-[(R5)C(R6)]m-(R7)C(R8)- (II) wherein m is 0 or 1 and R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 independently of one another are hydrogen or methyl; n is 1 or 2; X is oxygen or sulfur; A is Li, K, Na, NH4 or a group of the formula III Image (III) wherein R9 is hydrogen or methyl and R10 and R11 independently of each other are hydrogen, C1-C3alkyl or a -CH2-CH(R9)-OH group, wherein R9 is as defined above.
