Abstract Method for Measuring Nuclear Magnetic Resonance For recording NMR tomograms according to the 2D-FT method, a CPGM sequence is used for the excitation of the sample and the phase-encoding gradient Gx is modified after every 180° pulse of the CPGM sequence so that every echo signal corresponds to a different projection of the sample. The gradient fields used in the recording are established, regulated adjusted according to intensity and duration in such a way that the Gill- Meiboom requirement constantly is satisfied. Thereby, in the extreme case, it is possible to construct a complete image with a single excitation, whereby the time required for constructing such imagesis reduced to a fraction of the time needed up until now.
