ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device to join two components, in particular in the form of panels, especially of wood, comprises two elements that are inserted in suitable grooves in the components and there secured. The elements of the device incorporate hook heads that can be engaged in each other, these being arranged laterally projecting on blades. In the connected state of the device the hook heads of the two elements hook behind each other. Each of the two elements of the device has on its blade at least two such hook heads, and each of these hook heads has a hook-over surface that extend obliquely on each of its sides.
