ABSTRACT An apparatus for separating adherent films has a platform with a grounded, electrically conductive surface capable of bearing a sheet material a grounded electrically conductive bar over the surface and at least two pins for maintaining the position of the bar over the platform surface while permitting the passage of a sandwiched sheet material to be peeled apart, between the bar and the surface. The sandwiched sheet is manually wrapped around the bar and pulled to peel away the upper flexible sheet. Any electric charge built-up during the peeling operation is dissipated by the grounded bar and thereby brings about complete separation.
