TELEPHONE SET Abstract of the Disclosure The housings forming a member of a telephone set member are joined at peripheral edges. A thin spacer member is positioned between the opposed edges. The spacer member can be a separate member, similar to a gasket. In an alternative arrangement for a telephone set base, a further member is positioned between the top and bottom housings, the further member having a peripheral flange which forms the spacer member. In this latter arrangement the bottom housing can be adapted to be turned end-to-end, having a wedge shape, to provide for wall or desk mounting. A telephone handset can also have the spacer member between housings. The spacer member can be of a contrasting color relative to the housings. -i-
