SYNERGISTIC HERBICIDAL COMPOSITIONS Abstract of the Disclosure Synergistic herbicidal activity is displayed by a composition comprising the following two components: (a) a thiolcarbamate of the formula Image in which R1 is selected from the group consisting of ethyl, benzyl, and p-chlorobenzyl, and when R1 is ethyl, R2 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of C1-C6 alkyl and C5-C7 cycloalkyl, and when R1 is benzyl or p-chlorobenzyl, R2 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of C1-C6 alkyl, or conjointly form C5-C7 alkylene; and (b) a phenylcarbamoyloxycarbanilate of the formula Image in which R4 is C1-C4 alkyl; and R5 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C1-C4 alkyl.
