Abstract of the Disclosure Anti-tumor activity in humans can be augmented by administering to the human patient an effective amount of IFN-.beta. and IL-2 in combination. The composition of IFN-.beta. and IL-2 may be prepared in vitro or administered separately to the patient. The composition is useful for prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of such cancers as melanoma, colon cancer, lung cancer and breast cancer.
