A B S T R A C T NOVEL POLYKETONE POLYMERS Polymers of carbon monoxide with one or more olefinically unsaturated hydrocarbons bearing an alkylketo group at one end and a vinylketo group at the other end of their molecules, are prepared by carrying out the polymerization in the presence of a palladium based catalyst composition, dissolved in a diluent comprising one or more polar aprotic compounds.
