L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de pâtes CTMP blanchies comprenant un traitement de la matière lignocellulosique avec le sulfite à température au moins égale à 100°C sous pression de vapeur d'eau saturée, et un blanchiment à l'aide de H2O2 en milieu alcalin, sans élimination de matière solide ou liquide de la pâte depuis le début du traitement jusqu'à la fin du blanchiment. Ce procédé économise l'énergie.
