ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE BIDET A bidet seat 10 for use with a conventional water closet bowl includes a mounting member 22 for securernent to the bowl and within which there are located water inlet, pressure control 76 and flow control 70 valves, and an outlet through a hollow pivot pin 38 connecting to the seat. The seat has integral flow channels connecting the pivot pin to a rotatable arm 108 which in the one position is stored beneath the rim of the seat and in the operative position locates within the confines of the bowl. Expediently the arm is provided with one pair of spaced apart spray heads 116,116' each of which is operable independently of the other, so as to be capable of bathing the whole of the perineal area or selected portions thereof. The preferred spray heads generate a tubular film flow capable of providing good heads at relatively low flow rates without discomfort to the user.
