ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A small apparatus for dispensing oxygen from a small oxygen tank. A control device is mounted on the oxygen tank and supplies the oxygen through a connecting hose to a face mask. The control device includes a regulating housing and a throttle housing. The oxygen supply is released by means of a manual operating knob arranged in the throttle housing, while the amount of oxygen is adjusted through another manual operating knob on the regulating housing where amount can be fixed by using a setscrew. Through the use of a small oxygen tank and the direct connection of the control device to the tank, the apparatus can be kept small and light weight, so that it can be easily transported.
