A device for the sealing of a port or fitment on a thermoplastic film The invention relates to a device for the sealing of a port or fitment on a thermoplastic film. The device comprises a frame, a support plate carried by the frame and movable relative to same, a sealing head rigidly connected to the support plate, and at least one ring-shaped heating resistance carried by the sealing head and having rods for feeding electricity located at two diametrically opposed points. The device includes means for the diffusion of a cooling gas near the location of the current feeding rods on the heating resistance, preferably the means for the diffusion of a cooling fluid comprise channels or ducts which extend into the sealing head and surround the current feeding rods. The invention also relates to the assembling of the sealing device on a movable frame, and its association with a film-blocking device.
