ABSTRACT In a drawer with telescoping fittings consisting of drawer and casing rails, the side walls consist of side members (2) with the drawer rails (5). A front panel (1) of the drawer is secured through mounting brackets (19, 20), the parallel arms of which that pass along the side members being adjustable for height by means of eccentrics (23). In order to provide for precise and rapid adjustment of the slope of the front panel, and for lateral and for height adjustment using simple means and without any reduction of the inside space of the drawer, at places that are close to each other and in the area of the side elements and which are easily accessible when the drawer is slightly open, on the outside of the side elements (2) there is an intermediate plate that is so installed as to be adjustable, the retaining bracket being attached to this intermediate plate (18) so as to be pivotable about an axis (28) that is parallel to the front panel so as to provide adjustment of the slope of the front panel (1) and so as to be lockable, and also so as to be adjustable by means of an adjusting screw (28) for the lateral adjustment of the front panel (1). The adjusting eccentrics (23, 32) as well as the adjusting and clamping screws (25, 28) can be manipulated from that side of the arm (19) of the retaining bracket that faces outwards. The complete adjusting system is mounted so as to be protected on the outside of the side members (2). (figure 1).
