ABSTRACT A ring bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring concentric with the inner ring. Upper and lower raceways are formed around the interface between the inner and outer rings. A plurality of rolling elements are positioned in the upper and lower raceways so as to permit rotation of the inner ring relative to the outer ring. An inspection port is formed in one of the inner and outer rings, is radially directed and intercepts one of the upper and lower raceways.
