Abstract Cookware prepared from polycarbonates containing repeating units derived from bis-(3,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)sulfone (TMBS), optionally a dihydric phenol such as 2,2-bis-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane (Bisphenol A), and a carbonate peecursor. The cookware can be used in essentially all cooking oven applications.
