-20- ABSTRACT: To make sure that in an injection nozzle (1) with a nozzle channel (7), in which a nozzle pin (9) controls the nozzle orifice (5) as outlet, no displacement is brought about of the nozzle pin tip with respect to the nozzle orifice (5) by virtue of asymmetric pressure distributions of a moldable material, such as PET, introduced into the channel under pressure, the moldable material is initially pre- conveyed, without entering into contact with the nozzle pin (9), in parallel to the latter's axis, in order to flow finally into the nozzle channel (7) at a pressure uniformly distributed at the periphery of the nozzle pin (9), and/or the axial length of the nozzle channel (7) and thereby the free length (1) of the nozzle pin (9) is selected to be of such short length that an asymmetrical distribution of pressure along the nozzle pin periphery can effect an only negligible deflection, particularly of the retracted nozzle pin.
