A B S T R A C T Non-fraying Substrate for Use in an Orthopaedic Casting Bandage and a Process for its Preparation A resin-coated, knitted glass fibre substrate is prevented from fraying at a cut end by the presence at the said cut end of a polymer strip. The substrate is preferably coated with a water curable resin whereby the coated substrate can be used as an orthopaedic bandage. Processes for applying the polymer strip to the resin-coated substrate are also described.
