Abstract Triazole antifungal agents of the formula:- Image - (I) where R is a phenyl group optionally substituted by 1 to 3 substituents each independently selected from F, Cl, Br, I, CF3, C1-C4 alkyl and C1-C4 alkoxy, or R is a 5-chloropyrid-2-yl group; R1 and R2 are each independently H or CH3; and either (a) R3 is H or C1-C4 alkyl and R4 is C2-C4 alkanoyl or benzoyl, said benzoyl group being optionally substituted by 1 or 2 substituents each independently selected from F, Cl, Br, I, CF3, C1-C4 alkyl and C1-C4 alkoxy; or (b) R3 and R4 are both (C1-C4 alkoxy)carbonyl; or a pharmaceutically or agriculturally acceptable salt thereof. The compounds are useful as human and agricultural fungicides.
