POLYETHERIMIDE BEARING COMPOSITIONS Abstract of the Disclosure Nonmetallic bearing compositions contain a poly- etherimide resin and, as a modifier, a fluoropolymer, such as polytetrafluoroethylene. The present composi- tions can be fabricated into a variety of shapes by injection molding, and have excellent wear resistance, load-bearing capabilities, and low coefficients of fric- tion without the use of external lubrication.
