ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Compounds of general formula I, - (CH2)n - SOm -R ,(I) Image wherein R represents an optionally substituted aryl group or an aralkyl, pyridyl or quinolyl group, m is 0, 1 or 2, and n is 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, which show valuable pharmacological properties, especially anti- thrombotic activity, and an inhibiting effect on PDE and tumour metastasis. Processes for the preparation of the new compounds are described.
