ABSTRACT Nitrification-inhibiting agent and process for the production thereof The present invention provides an agent for inhibiting the nitrification of nitrogen-containing fertilisers based on dicyandiamide, which comprises 1 to 40% by weight of a fertiliser which is readily soluble in water and/or ammonia. The present invention also provides a process for the production of this agent, wherein finely particulate dicyandiamide is sprayed with an aqueous solution of a fertiliser which is readily soluble in water and/or ammonia and subsequently dried.
