ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This apparatus includes a horizontal conveyor having separate supporting elements to support the two panes of glass, some of which define a plane of movement of the panes, whereas the others define a plane that is parallel thereto, and which can be moved out of engagement with the pane of glass at a distance from the plane of movement of the panes, this being done either synchronously or in groups. In order to inject a paste-like material between the two panes of glass there is at least one nozzle moveable parallel to the plane of movement of the panes of transversely to the direction of movement of the horizontal con- veyor. A separator that precedes the nozzle orifices of the nozzle at a constant distance is provided, this extending into the space between the two panes of glass.
