A B S T R A C T AIRBORNE ELECTROMAGNETIC SURVEYING WITH CORRECTION FOR RELATIVE TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER OSCILLATION A method and apparatus for improving signals used for detecting conductive bodies in an area by means of an airborne electromagnetic survey system. An AC primary field signal is generated and transmitted to the said area. Induced secondary field signals which are generated by the said conductive bodies are received by a receiver. The received secondary field signals are processed and the processed signals are represented in order to derive information whether or not conductive bodies in the said area are present. The frequency spectrum of the primary field signal comprises a DC component or a low frequency component.
