Abstract of the Disclosure A process for continuously casting aluminum and aluminum alloys using a parting composition consisting essentially of glycerol trioleate. Both glycerol trioleate and mixtures of glycerol trioleate with castor oil have superior properties compared with parting compositions previously used for continuous ingot casting.
