O.Z.0050/37041 Abstract of the Disclosure: o,o'-Dithiodibenzamides of the formula Image where R1 and R2 are each hydrogen, alkyl or phenyl, R3 is hydrogen, halogen, nitro, methyl or methoxy, and R4 has the same meanings as R3, are prepared by nitrosating an anthranilamide of the formula Image and reacting the product with sulfur dioxide in the pre- sence of copper or a copper salt.
