Abstract of the Disclosure A CONVEYOR BELT A conveyor belt 10 composed of at least one ply of a tire cord frictioned on a side and having a layer 13 of unvulcanized elastomeric calendered fabric adhered to a side of the ply to give the belt a cover layer 15 and a pulley layer 14 when cured, the fabric in the layer of unvulcanized elastomeric fabric being chopped in lengths of about 1/4 inch (0,63 cm.) to about 2 inches (5.08 cm.).
