ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A disk recording and/or reproducing apparatus to feed one of a rotating disk and a pickup relative to the other thereof by a linear motor in a radial direction of the disk, characterized by a first circuit for extracting a low-frequency component of a tracking error signal, a second circuit for holding the low-frequency component, and a switch for supplying a value held in the second circuit to the linear motor during a track jump.
