- 6 - SHEET DOOR COMPRISING VERTICALLY EXTENDING FLEXIBLE RIBBED TRANSPARENT BANDS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The door comprises a horizontal support and a plurality of flexible transparent planar bands connec- ted to the support and freely extending vertically downwardly from the latter. An arrangement is provided for preserving the transparency of the major part of the area of each of the bands against opacity caused by contact of the ends of the machines which pass through the door. This arrangement comprises at least several parallel vertical ribs projecting on each side of each band. The ribs are so disposed that the space between two neighbourhing ribs of each band is less than the width of the ends of the machines which come in contact with the band when the machines pass through the door.
