Abstract The invention relates to a pack, more especially for a plurality of elongate articles (2) to be arranged paral- lel to one another in a block, such as glasses, cans or the like, consisting of a tray-like upper part (3) and a tray- like lower part (4) which surround the block of articles (2) at both ends thereof and further consisting of two opposite connecting walls (5, 5a) between the upper part (3) and the lower part (4), in which the two connecting walls (5, 5a) are provided at the sides extending between the upper part (3) and the lower part (4) with openings (6, 6a, 7, 7a) which are separated (only) by a weakened wall member (10, 10a).
