FONT DISPLAY AND TEST EDITING SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A font display and text editing system is disclosed. The system includes a display medium on which alphabetical characters may be displayed. A memory stores digital infor- mation describing the shape of each alphabetical character of a plurality of sets of alphabetical characters. Each set of alphabetical characters defines a respective font. A human responsive input device permits the user of the system to elect from the sets of alphabetical characters an alphabe- tical character to be displayed at a specific location on the display medium. The input device generates a signal in- dicative of the alphabetical character selected by the user. A circuit responsive to the signal generated by the input device causes the selected alphabetical character to be displayed at the location on the display medium.
