ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel scaffold plank is provided herein. It includes an elongated rectangular tubing means, such elongated rectangular tubing means providing a plurality of rectangular passages, each of which extend longitudinally of such elongated rectangular tubing means, such rectangular passages being transversely spaced from each other; at least one layer of covering member enclosing such elongated rectangular tubing means; and a respective end member mounted to each of the two opposite ends of such elongated rectan- gular tubing means, each of the end members including a plurality of plug portions which are substantially rectangular in cross-sec- tion, the plurality of plug portions being transversely aligned in spaced-apart relation and inwardly projecting into mating engage- ment with such plurality of respective rectangular passages, each of the end members further including inner engaging wall means held in abutment with a corresponding end of such elongated rectangular tubing means.
