718p Trowell 17 POLYOLS FROM TALL OIL AND AROMATIC POLYESTER POLYOLS Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed are polyester polyols that will dissolve at least 30% by weight of a trichlorofluoromethane blowing agent, have a hydroxyl number of 90-350 and a viscosity of 1,000-18,000 cps at 25°C, a process for making them by esterifying a mixture of aromatic polyester polyols with tall oil, and their use in the manufacture of polyurethane and urethane-modified polyisocyanurate foams and laminates comprising such foams.
