Polymer blend compositions exhibiting good compatibility between components and improved mechanical toughness, particularly at low temperatures, contain from about 25 to 55 weight percent polyamide, from about 40 to 75 weight percent of a styrene-containing polymer including functional groups derived from a carboxylic acid, anhydride or amide, and from about 1 to 25 weight percent of a carboxylated polyolefin elastomer containing functional groups derived from maleic anhydride.
