Abstract An insulating jug consisting of an insulating container and an open-topped jug-body provided with a pouring spout, the opening in the said jug being adapted to be closed by means of a threaded or bayonet-socketed cover. The said cover is held, freely rotatably, in a frame which is mounted on the body of the jug in such a manner as to pivot about an axis lying parallel with the plane of rotation of the said cover.
