Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to an article storing device and particularly to a container for storing sound or video cas- settes or computer discs, which comprises a case, a drawer, a spring, a brake block, and a lifting spring leaf, and is charactar- ized by making use of the interaction of guide grooves in the case, a brake block pivotally mounted on the back side of the drawer, and a spring so biased as to be closed by an easy push inward by a single finger, and to be quickly opened through a light push on any part of the front of the drawer thereby, or even to make the article contained therein automatically rise for ease of storing and retrieving the said article without tilting the drawer.
