Abstract of the Disclosure A bogie proposed for use in high-speed rail vehicles comprises a combined self-steering assembly aiding reciprocal self-steering for the purpose of radially adjusting wheel sets. A retaining device is arranged between the self-steering assembly and the bogie frame and a slew limiter that connects the self-steering assembly to the car body. This arrangement provides that the self-steering assembly is borne on both sides of the bogie frame in one of bearings. The self-steering assembly features two steering levers that are torsionally and rigidly connected together e.g. by means of a pipe. The proposed rail bogie is suited for use on high-speed rail vehicles by virtue of the ability of the system to provide stable and rail-saving travel, this being due to the adjustability of the wheel sets during curve negotiation.
