IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS Abstract In an image processing device for performing image protective transformation in which uncoded source image information defined in a rectangular area on a plane is projected on a quadrangular area delimited by any four points on the same plane, the hyperbola, generated by mapping of a conventional linear fractional function which expresses x and y data constituting the co-ordinates for source image pixels, is incrementally generated by use of a recurrence formula to simplify the projective transformation.
