-22- RCA 79,481 Abstract of the Disclosure A television signal processing system includes circuitry for performing hue control by effective rotation of the axes of the color mixture signals. The system includes a source of first and second quadrature related digital color mixture samples. Both the first and second color mixture samples are applied to multiplying means. The sines and cosines of the angle by which the axes are to be rotated are also applied to the multiplying means. The multiplied first and second color mixture samples are applied to a combining means. The combining means combines both the multiplied first and second color mixture signals to form modified first and second color mixture samples which form a rotated set of axes.
