K 604 A B S T R A C T PROCESS FOR THE CARBONYLATION OF ALLENICALLY UNSATURATED COMPOUNDS The process for the carbonylation of an allenically unsaturated compound with CO in the presence of water, an alcohol and/or a carboxylic acid is carried out in the presence of a catalyst formed by combining:- a) a Pd(II) compound, b) ? 15 mol of an organic phosphine per gram atom of Pd(II), and c) a protonic acid having a pK > 1.5 and/or a carboxylic acid having a PKa ? 1.5, both measured at 18 °C in aqueous solutions.
