A method for quantifying a myocardial infarction in a patient from a plurality of planar projections comprising the steps of administering an antimyosin imaging agent to the patient, quantifying antimyosin uptake in a plurality of planar images, and displaying antimyosin uptake in a bullseye image is disclosed. A method for screening patients with chest pain due to myocardial ischemia to identify patients having a high risk of developing myocardial infarction is also disclosed.
