MULTIPLE WRAP LABEL Abstract of the Disclosure A product container has a label wrapped around it more than once, with the innermost layer being firmly secured to the product container by full coating of permanent adhesive, and the remainder of the label having adhesive only along its outermost edge to normally hold it closed. A tear strip and one or more transverse perforation lines are provided to remove the outer layers, to expose additional surfaces on which special information and/or instructions regarding the product may be included. The outer surface of the outer layer may have colorful display advertising, while the inner surface of this outer layer may include special medical information or the like. A series of labels may be mounted on a backing strip with the longitudinal axis of the labels parallel to the longitudinal axis of the backing strip and a narrow transverse band of adhesive at the end of each label being transverse to the longitudinal axis of the backing strip.
