HEAT-CURABLE SILICONE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING FUMARATE CURE-CONTROL ADDITIVE AND USE THEREOF ABSTRACT Compositions which cure by a platinum-catalyzed reaction between silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms and silicon- bonded, aliphatically unsaturated hydrocarbon radicals have improved pot-life and cure-rate characteristics when a catalyst-inhibiting amount of a diorgano fumarate compound is added to the composition. Solventless coating compositions containing a dialkyl fumarate, a methylhydrogenpolysiloxane and a methylpolysiloxane bearing hexenyl radicals are particularly useful as adhesive-release coatings for acrylic-based pressure sensitive adhesives, applied in-line.
