ABSTRACT The invention provides a baling machine for baling a number of bags containing product into a larger bale bag. Product bags are transported to fall down a chute individually where they are stacked until the group is allowed to fall into a bale bag and into engagement with a moving platform which decelerates the falling product bags to minimize impact and resulting bruising. The filled bale bag is then ejected and closed. A novel linear bearing is also described for use in this and other machines.
