ABSTRACT Liquid and gas proof container of a non-shape permanent type and comprising a gas sealed container sleeve and in which the sealing at least at one end is formed as a bellow bottom and above said bellow bottom as a protection lid. The bellow bottom is connected to the inner surface of the container sleeve over a gas proof joint whereas the protection lid is connected point by point or discontinuously so that the air volume existing between the bellow bottom and the protection lid is communicating with the ambient atmosphere. An apparatus for executing the method comprises a carrier (9) for the container sleeve (1) and a plunge (11) for shaping and pressing a bellow bottom blank (27) and a protection lid blank into the carrier (9) and the container sleeve whereby a rim of the bellow bottom blank and the protecting lid blank respectively is fold up and in which the plunge comprises a lower plunge part (17) and an upper plunge part (18) which are axially movable in relation to each other and between said movable parts and expandable rubber rings (19) which upon compression of the two movable plunge parts are pressed radially outwards in direction to a welding ring (10) mounted in the carrier (9) for weld joining of the rims of the bellow bottom and the lid respectively to the inner surface of the container sleeve. The bottom of the lower plunge part (17) has a bulging (21) the shape of which defines the shape and size of the bellow bottom. The welding of the bellow bottom is made by means of an expandable rubber ring (19) as located or, level with the welding ring (10) in the carrier (9) whereas the welding of the protection lid is made by means of some part of the bulging sides and with the rim of the protection lid on level with the welding ring (10).
